Five makers who changed how I see craft
Not a list of influencers. A list of five people, mostly on small accounts, who taught me something I needed to know.

I won't link Instagram handles in this one — half of them barely post, and they should be discovered by people who actually want to find them. But the lessons I'll share, with permission.
Maker 1, a 67-year-old retired biology teacher in Pécs, taught me that the seam matters more than the surface.
Maker 2, a non-binary embroidery artist in Berlin, taught me that 'finishing' is overrated.
Maker 3, a midwife in Marrakech who crochets between shifts, taught me how to actually rest.
Maker 4, a teenager I met at Bloom Studio, reminded me that bad colour combinations sometimes win.
Maker 5 is my grandmother. She doesn't have an Instagram and would not want one.
